We use essential cookies that are necessary to provide the Service, including authentication, security, and core functionality.
What we set today
Our websites, helping.io and docs.helping.io, and the web app set one cookie, and only if you choose a theme:
hio-theme: a functional preference cookie that remembers the light, dark or system theme you chose, so that helping.io, docs.helping.io and the web app all show it. It is kept for one year from your last visit. A copy of the choice is also kept in your browser’s local storage.
The web app sets two more cookies:
__Host-admin-user-session: an essential session cookie that keeps you signed in.sidebar-expanded: a functional preference cookie that remembers whether the sidebar is open. It is kept for 30 days.
None of these cookies is used for tracking.
Non-essential cookies
We currently do not use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this notice and, where required, ask for your consent before placing them.
